The Box, well known for it's presence on the national music scene for the better part of the '80s have come back in April '05.
After four gold and platinum records and as many Félix's not to mention the relentless touring, The Box disbanded in '92.

However, given the quasi constant pressure from the industry, band leader Jean Marc agrees to restart the machine but not without having something new to offer to the fans. The band's fifth album called "Black Dog There" is realeased, a complete departure from ealier material that causes quite a surprise.

Then comes the spring to fall tour of '05 in different venues and festivals in Québec and Ontario. The press comment on the level of energy diplayed at live performances and is delighted to hear all the hits from the '80s played along side the new stuff thereby bridging the gap between two generations of listeners.

The band is currently working on the 6th album, yet another about face vis-à-vis the latest, best described as a musical adaptation of a short story by French author Guy de Maupassant called "The Horla" ( 1887 ) which will be released in two distinct versions, one in French and the other in English, in the purest Newprog style.

The Box is already scheduled up to next fall for concerts in Québec and the Maritimes.
