Bonne nouvelle: je rencontre le prez des disques Passeport vendredi matin pour discuter de notre entente. Il a adoré l’album et est plus qu’optimiste quant au single. Hé oui, il y a un single aussi sur cet album, un bossa nova qui raconte le contact d’un bonhomme de treize ans
( que j’avais à l’époque ) avec Maupassant et Le Horla, ma lecture de poche lors d’un long voyage en avion vers l’Italie en ‘71.

Ça veut dire qu’il ne s’agit plus que d’une question de semaines avant que l’album se retrouve en magasin. Yessss!

Good news: I’m meeting the prez of Passeport Records on Friday morning to discuss our partnership. The man loves the album and is more than optimistic about the single. Indeed there is a single on this otherwise fully progressive record. It’s a bossa nova style track that explains the contact between a thirteen year old ( which I was at the time ) and Maupassant and The Horla, my pocket reading material on a long airplane trip to Italy in ‘71.

That of course means the album will be in stores in a matter of weeks…

Alors le prochain concert à proximité de Montréal sera à St Lambert ( comme vous avez probablement pu le constater à la page «concerts» du site ) le 4 juillet au Cabaret Mouille-Pied,  81 rue Hooper et j’ai assisté hier au lancement de la programmation. Salle très sympathique, pas trop grande, genre cabaret, exactement le style d’endroit parfait pour le show qu’on fait.

On se voit là !!

PS; Mon attaché de mode m’a conseillé de me débarrasser de cette coiffure ridicule, ce que j’ai fait !!

Next show around Montréal is St Lambert at the Cabaret Mouille-Pied, on the 4th of July, 81 Hooper St. I was at the opening ceremony yesterday and the place is perfect for a Box show, cabaret style, not too large… Really nice.
